Quoting.ai writes real quotes into DDI Inform.

Live in production today. RFQs from email, PDF, WhatsApp, and voice become DDI Inform quotes with your item numbers and price levels, approved by your team.

The DDI Inform integration is live and running in production with a plumbing distributor. Quoting.ai Supply reads inbound RFQs, matches lines to your Inform item file with customer price levels applied, and writes the approved quote or order back into Inform as a real document. Setup is scoped with you on the kickoff call after the two-step start: connect your inbox, upload inventory.

What syncs

  • Item file: SKUs, descriptions, units of measure, manufacturer cross-references
  • Customers and customer-specific price levels
  • Quote write-back as a real Inform quote document
  • Order write-back on conversion, with your document numbering
  • Inventory on-hand for approver visibility while reviewing

What does not, yet

  • Special-order and non-stock item creation stays a human step in Inform today
  • Custom Inform screens or third-party bolt-ons are scoped case by case on the kickoff call

This scope is kept honest on purpose. When it changes, this page changes, and the changelog says so.

How does the DDI Inform integration work?

Quoting.ai connects to your Inform instance and mirrors the data quoting actually needs: items, customers, price levels, and on-hand quantities. When an RFQ arrives, the draft quote is built from that data, so every line carries a real item number and the price your contract with that customer dictates.

When your approver hits send, the quote exists in Inform exactly as if your best counter person had typed it, minus the typing.

What does setup look like?

Two steps start it: connect your inbox (Gmail, Outlook, or WhatsApp) and upload your inventory export. Then a kickoff call scopes the Inform connection with a human who has done it before. The ERP connection runs alongside your first weeks in Assist mode, so nothing depends on a big-bang switch.

Common questions

Is this live or a roadmap item?

Live. It runs in production with a plumbing distributor on DDI Inform today. We publish integration status honestly on every one of these pages: this one is live, others say in development when that is the truth.

Does it write quotes or just read data?

It writes. Approved quotes and converted orders land in Inform as real documents. Read-only integrations leave your team retyping, which defeats the point.

What happens to our ERP credentials?

Credentials are stored encrypted, scoped to the minimum access the integration needs, and never used outside it. The security details, including tenancy and data handling, are covered on the kickoff call.

Running this ERP? You are closest to live.

Two steps and a kickoff call. The integration work has already been done.
